Melania Shows Class By Who She Invited To Accompany Her To Barbara Bush’s Funeral

First Lady Melania Trump has a lot of class and a gracious way about her. And she showed that once again while attending the funeral of another first lady with class, Barbara Bush.

Mrs. Bush, the wife of George H.W. Bush, the 41st president, and mother of the 43rd president, George W. Bush, died on April 17 at the age of 92. She had had health problems for sometime but refused the day before to go back to the hospital preferring to spend the time she had left with her family and friends. And she did exactly that, spending the evening before she died talking to friends and sipping bourbon.

As she passed her husband of 73 years was with her holding her hand, according to reports.

Melania Trump attended Bush’s funeral and took two special guests along with her.

She took two White House staffers who had been very close to the Bush family along with her to the funeral.

From Conservative Tribune:

White House usher Buddy Carter and former White House head maitre d’ George Hannie were guests of the first lady at the service on Saturday.

“She knew they were very close to the Bush family and wanted them to be able to pay their respects,” a spokeswoman for Trump said.

Secret Service agents who loved Barbara Bush paid her the special honor of continuing to guard her around the clock until she was buried.

Barbara Bush received a lot of accolades from around the world including from Mrs. Trump.

“It was my honor to travel to Houston to give my respects to Barbara Bush and the remarkable life she led as a mother, wife, and fearless First Lady,” Melania said in a statement.

Melania also tweeted about the floral tribute given to Mrs. Bush under her picture in the White House. President Trump did not attend in order to avoid the additional distractions that the greater security would cause. None of the sitting presidents attended the funerals of the last three first ladies to die for similar reasons.

In addition to Melania Trump, the Obamas and the Clintons were also in attendance, making for what must indeed be considered a rare picture.
